Reporting to the Associate Director of Digital Engagement within Corporate Communications, the Multimedia Producer works collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-oriented, multimedia communications department to help develop and implement integrated strategic corporate communications. Key functions include creating video stories, audio episodes and photojournalism content; serving as project manager for video and photography production teams; and supporting and developing strong partnerships with organizational and program leaders and teams.
This is a hybrid position based in Washington DC. May work remotely for the majority of the time, but occasional days in the office are required.

Responsibilities:
Create video, audio and photojournalism web content that positions FHI 360โs expertise and impact across practice areas for a diverse global audience.
Manage full life-cycle production of multi-media stories and create promotional posts for social media.
Manage a large digital asset library and multimedia production equipment including cameras, microphones, lighting and digital subscriptions.
Lead contracted production teams in multiple countries in multiple languages (with translator support).
Support the development of systems and processes for proactive outreach to cultivate and nurture a culture of storytelling across FHI 360.
Manage inter-team processes and ensure that tasks are completed collaboratively, on time and within budget.
Mentor and oversee junior staff in delivery of discrete projects.
Represent Corporate Communications on FHI 360 task forces; serve as brand ambassador in relevant external forums.

Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in journalism, communications or related field.
5+ years of progressive work experience in broadcast journalism, web journalism, corporate communications, public health, international development, or public policy, including 3+ years in multimedia work
Demonstrated experience in multimedia communications and storytelling, including filming, editing and writing.
Superior written and verbal communications skills and ability to transform scientific and technical information into compelling and accessible stories in a creative and meaningful way.
Evidence of successful project management.
Skill in developing strategies and implementing detailed tactical plans.
Ability to influence, motivate and collaborate with others.
Respect for deadlines and budget.
