FHI 360 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Finance and Administration Director for the anticipated USAID Funded Integrated Health Systems Strengthening Activity (IHSS). The IHSS Activity will have an award ceiling between $300m and $500m with a global scope of work, potentially ranging up to 30 countries concurrently. The IHSS Activity will support the achievement of balanced, equitable and resilient health systems through locally-led, evidence-driven, and context-specific approaches to HSS, thereby contributing to advancing primary health care, accelerating progress toward UHC, and improving health outcomes.

Job Summary:

Oversees, manages, prepares, administers and directs the control of the corporate or program budget and procurement systems. This includes oversight of sub-award and grant management, asset management, ICT procurement, administration, accounting and finance. Manages the activities of the (program) finance and accounting staff at HQ and across country teams. Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, providing relevant fiscal information to executive management team. Develops and manages internal financial audits. Develops formal reporting system to communicate results of audit activities to management and regulatory compliance agencies. Provides leadership and technical guidance for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) legislation. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Provides leadership and technical guidance promoting a delivery service approach to a diversified funding portfolio of global awardsactivities. Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Serves on the expanded team supporting Operations with technical assistance opportunities to strengthen capacity and promote country center delivery.
