FHI 360 is currently recruiting for the position of Grants Manager, for an anticipated USAID-funded civil society strengthening project in Indonesia that is expected to begin implementation in July 2025. The โ€œBerdayaโ€ Activity will strengthen inclusive and accountable democratic governance through an empowered and active civil society. Working in USAID/Indonesiaโ€™s focus provinces, the Activity will strengthen the capacity, agency, resilience, and impact of civil society organizations and other civic actors as catalysts for change. This position is contingent on funder award of the project to FHI 360 and funder approval of the selected applicant in the position.

Position Description:

The Grants Manager will provide technical leadership and expertise in sub-awards and grants support. S/he will lead the contractual and administrative management of the subawards component of this anticipated program. S/he will work with the FHI 360โ€™s Operations staff to establish and manage the grants program including pre and post award phases of the award and sub award development process, post award monitoring ongoing agreements as well as ensuring adequate tools and processes and mechanisms in place to ensure full compliance with award and sub award conditions. S/he will identify capacity development needs for the Activity partners and provide technical assistance including mentoring, training, and on-call support for Activity partner sub-awardees. The Grants Manager will also facilitate requirements with donor requirements and FHI 360 policies and procedures and work with FHI 360 Contracts Management Services (CMS) to interpret award terms and recommend the most effective and appropriate use of sub-award instruments and tools.
