FHI 360 is seeking a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Manager for an anticipated USAID-funded civil society strengthening project in Indonesia that is expected to begin implementation in July 2025. The โ€œBerdayaโ€ Activity will strengthen inclusive and accountable democratic governance through an empowered and active civil society. Working in USAID/Indonesiaโ€™s focus provinces, the Activity will strengthen the capacity, agency, resilience, and impact of civil society organizations and other civic actors as catalysts for change. This position is contingent on funder award of the project to FHI 360 and funder approval of the selected applicant in the position

Position Description:

The MEL Manager will provide technical leadership to capture program intervention results, ensure high-quality, timely, valid and verifiable data collection and analysis, and develop and implement a learning agenda to inform, Activity partners, the Government of Indonesia, USAID/Indonesia, and other stakeholders of the lessons learned. This individual shall be responsible for the knowledge management aspect of the project, collecting and aggregating methods, lessons, and results from across the partner organizations. The MEL Manager will provide technical guidance by designing and developing MEL systems and procedures for funded programs. This includes establishing key components of an MEL system including data collection, analysis, and reporting on key output, outcome and impact indicators for the program.
