NIB is seeking TRAINEE(S) to join the Lending Department, Credit Analysis team.

The position(s) is optimally held for six months, with possibilities for extensions depending on the overall workload. The Lending Department at NIB offers an excellent opportunity to gain a thorough understanding on how an international financial institution operates.

Your responsibilities in NIB will consist of:

Assisting in the beginning of the credit process with entering of financial statements for potential clients into the rating tool and assigning them an indicative risk class. Participation in the monitoring and re-rating process of the bank. Participating in other ongoing projects within the bank.

We are looking for someone who:

Has completed minimum 2 years studies in Accounting or Finance. Is reasonably well in using Microsoft office tools, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Has Interests and skills in data analytics. That would be considered an advantage. Is fluent in English is a prerequisite. Working knowledge of any Nordic/Baltic language would be an asset. Has personal qualities like open-mindedness, flexibility, good interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine interest in learning. Has aptitude for figures and attention to details.

The work is conducted on hourly basis with flexible time schedules. The workload for the position(s) will be higher in periods yet combinable with studies. The intended start is mid- August 2023.
