NIB is now seeking a
CREDIT ANALYST/SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST
to join the 1st Line Analysis & Screening unit in the Lending Department. The position is located in the Bank's Riga office.
Responsibilities:
Analysing comprehensively credit risk of your portfolio of customers Preparing credit risk analysis, assessing business and financial risk and proposing an internal credit risk rating Arguing your credit analysis in the credit committee Participating in customer due diligence meetings Performing credit risk research on applicable industries Contributing to ongoing development of your and your colleaguesโ workWe are looking for someone who:
Has a masterโs degree in finance, economics, or another related field Has a track-record (minimum 3-5 years of experience) in a similar or closely related role Has experience of working with SME customers Is fluent in English. The role also requires knowledge in at least one Baltic language Can separate big issues from small Is open-minded and flexibile Possesses good interpersonal and organisational skills and a genuine interest in learning Has aptitude for numbers and attention to details Is comfortable using Microsoft office tools, primarily Excel, Word and PowerPointCredit analysis utilises top of the line credit analysis methodologies from S&P. We have a team of about a dozen credit analysts. We have a good combination of nationalities, skills and seniority in our team. As this role is closely linked with developing NIB's presence in the Baltic countries, a Baltic stakeholder network is seen as an advantage.

The position is located at NIB's new regional office is in the Citadele Business Centre in the heart of Riga. We apply a hybrid work model, combining office and remote work.
