In Doomadgee we are looking for a Practitioner to support our dedicated Early Childhood programs team to maximise their impact on the lives of children and families. In this varied and challenging role, youโll develop and implement programs, foster lasting links with the community, develop the capacity of local workers and encourage active engagement with our services.

Where you come in:
In this full time, maximum term role (through to end of December 2024), youโll lead a local team to deliver our Early Childhood Education programs across Doomadgee. This will include our School Transition, Pay2Learn, Holiday and afterschool programs, working in the 0โ8-year-old space. Reporting to our Mornington Island Team Leader, youโll ideally be based in Doomadgee though a FIFO arrangement will be considered for this role.

This role requires:
Experience working with teams supporting children and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds Thorough knowledge of child protection processes and commitment to upholding them Demonstrated experience in coordinating reporting and collecting outcome data Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood or another relevant field, or significant relevant experienceWorking at 54 reasons is more than just a job.
