In this full-time position (1.0 FTE) maximum term role till 30 June 2026*, youโll work as part of our Early Years Place team in Maryborough with potential travel across the Fraser Coast to help us create a lasting change for children everywhere. *We are seeking applicants who can commence as soon as possible - in January 2025. The initial contract is for 6 months ending Tuesday, 30 June 2026. This is a pilot program, and continuation beyond the initial term is subject to additional funding being secured.
You will make a difference by:
Driving program planning, implementation, and continuous improvement Coaching and developing team members to build capability and maintain best practice Managing stakeholder relationships and strengthening community networks to support program success Overseeing allocation of client work, program logistics, risk management, and child protection compliance Delivering direct support for families, including transition planning, family support, and referral pathwaysA place to feel valued:
Your expertise in providing technical guidance, mentoring, and referral pathways to families will be invaluable. Youโre passionate about coaching, mentoring and transferring skills and knowledge to others to drive team service and team outcomes.
This role requires:
Experience working with family and young people Knowledge of best practice, professional standards, and relevant research in the field of Child Safe Practices and Early Years Education A genuine passion to support and manage a high-performing team to meet and exceed objectives and achieve positive outcomes for children and young people. Demonstrated understanding of the ways in which cultural contexts influence practice approaches Current valid driverโs licence A Bachelor of Social Work, Psychology or relevant Human Service Qualification and/or significant experience managing a similar serviceA place to belong:
