Here you’re empowered to make a difference in children’s lives by learning, sharing and collaborating to find new ways to solve problems.

In this part time (30.4 hours per week), maximum term role through to end of December 2024, you’ll work within a team to provide case management and safety planning support to women and children who are escaping or experiencing domestic violence, within the refuge accommodation program and outreach role. Based in the Moreton Bay region, the role attracts some minimal rostered on-call responsibilities, and reports to the Team Leader.

You’re an experienced domestic and family violence practitioner with high levels of initiative and flexibility alongside cultural sensitivity and knowledge. You’re able to respond calmly and effectively in crisis and complex situations. Importantly, you possess a thorough understanding of the impact of domestic violence on women and children and are able to apply that within a trauma-informed practice framework.
