NIB's Legal Department, headed by the General Counsel, handles all legal aspects of NIB's lending and treasury activities and provides legal support to institutional and administrative matters.

The Legal Department is looking for a

Documentation Officer

The position is placed in the Lending Operations Unit which provides legal services to NIBโ€™s Lending Department but it includes general administrative support also to Legal Departmentโ€™s three other Units (Treasury Legal Support, Administrative Legal Affairs and Institutional Matters).

In addition to general administrative support to Legal Departmentโ€™s lawyers the duties include:ย 

Filing and archiving transaction documents and making data entries to the relevant systems as a key user Following up document deadlines Managing insider lists Administering the selection and invoicing processes in connection with the use of external legal advice Providing to the transaction lawyers editing assistance with loan agreements and other in-house drafted transaction documents Preparing supporting documentation like powers of attorney and NDAs Assisting transaction lawyers in completing conditions of disbursement

Associateโ€™s or Bachelorโ€™s degree in a relevant field, e.g. in Business Administration At least 3 yearsโ€™ administration / office experience Prior experience from a similar role, for example as a Legal Assistant, is considered beneficial

Skills and abilities:

Strong oral and written communication skills in English and preferably also in Swedish or another Scandinavian language Advanced MS Office skills Attention to detail and eye for accuracy Good organisational skills Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively Ability to work independently and take initiative, proactivity and flexibility Ability to work as a team member in a multi-cultural environment
