FHI 360 is currently recruiting qualified Deputy Chief of Party candidates to be proposed on an anticipated new activity in Papua New Guinea to prevent and respond to conflict and foster the safe, meaningful participation of vulnerable groups, particularly women, in political, societal, and economic spheres. This project, which will focus on the provinces of Hela and Morobe, will focus on strengthening social cohesion and resilience from the bottom up and supporting existing mechanisms, institutions, and strategies rather than creating new, parallel structures. This position will be based in Port Moresby, with travel to the priority provinces. Availability of position is contingent upon award to FHI 360 and selection of final applicant is subject to USAID approval.

Position Description:

The DCOP will support the Chief of Party in overseeing project implementation and will provide technical and management leadership to the overall project. The DCOP will represent the project to external stakeholders including government officials and donors and will supervise project staff to ensure that project activities are completed in a timely manner and are of high technical quality. This position will be based in Port Moresby, and the successful applicant must be willing to travel to other provinces as required.
