Project Description:

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the US Government and the US Presidentโ€™s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), that provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIV epidemic control among all at-risk populations; strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; improve maternal and child health (MCH), address malaria; and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management.

Position Summary:

The Deputy Project Director (DPD) will provide high-level support to the Project Director in the planning, coordination, execution, and oversight of the EpiC Bangladesh project activities. The DPD will be the second-in-command for the project and ensure that technical, programmatic, and operational functions are integrated and efficiently executed. The DPD will play a key leadership role in managing stakeholder relationships, supervising sub-awardees, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, and supporting adaptive management and timely achievement of project objectives, especially in risk Global Health Security (GHS), Maternal and Child Health (MCH), and Nutrition.
