Title : Technical Specialist โ€“ Maternal, Newborn and Child Health

Project Description:

Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) is a global project funded by the US Government and the US Presidentโ€™s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), that provides strategic technical assistance and direct service delivery to achieve HIV epidemic control among all at-risk populations; strengthen global health security (GHS), including outbreak response; improve maternal and child health (MCH), address malaria; and promote health systems strengthening (HSS) including supply chain management.

Position Summary:

The Technical Specialist โ€“ MNCH will provide technical and operational support for the implementation of maternal, newborn, and child health interventions under the EpiC project. The position will support the integration of MNCH services with Risk Communication and Community Engagement health systems strengthening, and public health emergency preparedness and response.

Under the guidance of the Technical Advisor โ€“ MNCH, the Specialist will assist in planning, implementing, and monitoring MNCH-related activities at both national and sub-national levels. This role involves close collaboration with government counterparts, implementing partners, health facilities, and community-based actors to ensure quality, continuity, and coverage of life-saving MNCH servicesโ€”particularly among women, newborns, and children in high-risk and underserved areas.
