NIB's Legal Department, headed by the General Counsel, handles all legal aspects of NIBโ€™s lending and treasury activities, and provides legal support to institutional and administrative matters.

We are now looking for anย Associate Counselย to join the Administrative Legal Affairs Unit which provides advice in the procurement of goods and services for NIBโ€™s internal purposes and drafts and negotiates a broad range of administrative agreements.

The position is full-time for a fixed term until September 2025.

As part of our Unit, you join a team of three lawyers who work closely with NIBโ€™s Procurement Officer and the business units. In your daily work you deal with smaller assignments relating to NIBโ€™s everyday operations as well as larger, more complex agreements primarily in the areas of IT, HR and office services and facilities. You also gain visibility to NIBโ€™s integrity due diligence process. Depending on your interests and skills you are welcome to participate in various development initiatives, such as the development of NIBโ€™s internal policies and regulations. The broad variety of work tasks provide you good development and growth opportunities.

Qualifications and skills:

โ€ข Master of Laws degree (LLM or equivalent).
โ€ข 1-2 years of professional experience.
โ€ข Experience and interest in IT and the legal aspects of cloud and data services is considered an asset.
โ€ข Fluency in English with a demonstrated skill to draft and negotiate legal documents.
โ€ข Good communication and interpersonal skills, service-mindedness and proactiveness.
โ€ข Ability to work independently and collaborate as a part of a team.
โ€ข Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
โ€ข Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
