Where you come in:

This is a part-time, maximum term position through to the 20/12/2024. Work structure will be 4.5 days/34.2 hours per week or a 9-day fortnight, dependent on what suits you best.

You will work with young people aged 12-18 years and their families, delivering a youth led outreach program with the aim of creating and supporting safety, belonging and wellbeing for young people and their families in engaging and creative ways in the Cessnock and Singleton LGA’s. As part of our Mobile Youth Outreach, Regional Youth Investment Program team, you’ll report to our 54 reasons Team Leader.

Does this sound like you?

You have a focus on early intervention and exceptional communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to effectively design and facilitate engaging group programs. You’re truly passionate about standing up for young people, and your background is ideally in Youth Work, Social Work, or a similar field. Your thorough understanding of the impacts of trauma, coupled with your communication and relationship building skills, will enable you to build connections with young people to help them lead a brighter future. You have strong cultural knowledge which helps you to engage with families, and you’re creative and passionate about working with young people aged 12-18 years. Finally, you’re an independent self-starter who is happy to work remotely when not delivering programs.
