In this full-time permanent role, youโll work as a part of our Retail team across all our Op Shops in Melbourne to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. The Floating Store Manager plays an important role in delivering on our vision of a better world for children. Whether itโs supporting the management of the daily operations of our Op Shops or building a cooperative team of volunteers who together form a cohesive and enthusiastic workforce, youโll be contributing to our commitment to children in Australia, the Pacific and around the world.
You will make a difference by:
Ensuring store budgets are met by achieving targets Providing and maintaining high levels of customer service in line with Save the Children customer service standards Supporting local and national marketing campaigns and promotional activities Managing customer complaints and feedback Undertaking volunteer induction for all new team members Assisting with maintaining volunteer team schedules and the coordination of shifts due to absence or leaveA place to feel valued:
Your deep expertise in retail store management and / or retail customer service will be invaluable.
This role requires:
Experience in managing a team in a retail environment Outstanding organisational skills with strong time management ability Ability to provide a high level of customer service Ability to perform routing manual labour tasks including moving boxes of stock and displays Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Highly developed relationship building and interpersonal skillsA place to belong:
