Our Mobile Play2Learn is an outreach early childhood program that goes out into the community and supports families and children to reach their full potential. Where you come in:
In this casual position, youโll support early childhood development and school readiness skills, and will facilitate improved relationships between parents and children. Working across different sites as part of our mobile service, youโll work in a team to create an environment of trust and respect with families and children. Youโll be part of our Mobile Play2Learn team and report to our Team Leader.
We have 1 role available, based in the Mundubbera and North Burnett region.
You will make an impact by:
Assisting to develop and deliver early learning programs Working within a team to ensure programs are age and developmentally appropriate Creating a welcoming and safe environment to encourage active participation Growing an understanding of early learning amongst families and sharing your knowledge with community membersDoes this sound like you?
Youโre passionate about working with young children and parents and making a difference in their lives. Your sensitivity and community knowledge will see you build strong connections with families from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Youโre motivated, eager to learn and not afraid to jump in feet first to help make our programs successful.
This role requires:
Minimum Certificate III in Childrenโs Services or equivalent qualification Experience working with children 0-5 and families in a group setting Strong organisational and time management skills Current valid driverโs licenceWorking at 54 reasons is more than just a job.
