Background:
NRC has been active in Somalia since 2004 with four area offices in Kismayu, Mogadishu, Garowe and Hargeisa, providing protection and humanitarian assistance to refugees, internally displaced persons and returnees in Somaliland, Puntland, South Central and Jubbaland regions. Responsibilitie
Site Engineer undertakes the primary responsibility of providing daily monitoring and supervision of feeder road rehabilitation and construction of water catchment in Mudug region. This role involves overseeing every aspect of the construction process, ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines. In addition to overseeing the technical work, the engineer will provide daily progress reports, progress photos and challenges for daily and weekly updates.
Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience ย ย
Diploma in civil, hydrogeology, geology, Ground Water, or a related field. Previous experience from working in the context of the position.
