The opportunity
The post holder will oversee Child Protection in Emergency (CPiE) and Gender Based Violence in Emergency (GBViE) activities in designated Local Government Areas (LGAs) of Borno state and ensure that the project is implemented in accordance with the agreed workplan and as per the signed agreement with the donor and Plan International. He/she will be providing hands-on guidance, support, mentoring and coaching to CPiE and GBViE frontline staff, Case Workers and PSS volunteers to ensure smooth and quality implementation of child protection and GBV in emergencies project.
About You
We are looking for an applicant with a University degree in Social Science, Social Work, human rights, law, psychology or related field. The candidate should possess a minimum of 3-5 yearsโ experience in child protection work with a humanitarian organisation. S/he should have solid knowledge base and practical experience in community-based child protection approaches, case management, psychosocial support and child participation methodologies.
