The Opportunity
The job holder provide supports to OTP /SC activities of the government, in all kebeles of each target woredas. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of quality out-patient therapeutic and in-patient care of SAM case management, and follow-up services to target beneficiaries through ensuring adherence to national and international SAM case management protocols.
The Individual
Qualifications/expriance essential
- Education: Nursing diploma from a recognized health college
- Minimum three yearsโ experience post qualification and with valid registration/practicing license and experience in nutrition program (TSFP) implementation โ case definition and care, TSFP management, data collection and compilation, working with counterpart for lasting intervention, training of health volunteers, etc
- Work experience in Health Service Extension Program is an asset.
Languages required:

Good written and spoken of the local language to the area mandatory in addition to English.
Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)
- Understands and puts into practice the responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies and Plan Internationalโs Code of Conduct (CoC), ensuring that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
- Ensures that all staff signed safeguarding policies;
- Implement Plan Internationalโs global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People and Gender Equality and Inclusion are fully embedded in day to day work.
