Support stakeholder and partners in training on project participant. Coordinate with stakeholders and partners in training of project participant on small scale business, income generating activities, VSLA, and livestock production & management. Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines. Assist with the implementation of the support function portfolio according to plan of action. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents.ย Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function. Supervise distribution of materials and equipment are timely and accordance with the procedures. Involve and inform communities and community leaders about the activities, aim and objective. Generic professional competencies:
ย BSC, HND in Agriculture, Agric Engineering, Economics, Social Sciences or related. A minimum of one year in a related position is required. Work experience from Northeast State context is preferred. Experience and understanding of Selection, Planning and Management (SPM) of Income Generating Activities (IGAs) both on farm and off farm. Experience in project participant skills training and distribution of business startup kits. Experience in agricultural livelihoods (crop and livestock production), value chain addition and VSLA. Previous experience of working in complex and volatile contexts. Knowledge of the context in NE state. Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited supervision.
