We are recruiting a Knowledge Management Officer , for an initial period of 1 year including a 3 month probation period. The assigned location will be Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Knowledge Management Officer at the P2 level shall work closely with other divisions within DPAPS to foster a strong knowledge and information-sharing culture, as well as a data management culture. The Knowledge Management Officer will report to the Head of the PSC Secretariatย ย

Required Skills and Experience
ย Work Experience Deep knowledge of Knowledge/information/data management.Experience in digitization and document archival system.Knowledge and experience in digitization and Data software such as DSpace, Excel, Microsoft PowerBI and Microsoft SharePoint is required.Knowledge and experience with Adobe tools for publication, photography and video editing is required.Knowledge of the PSC working methods is desirable. ย Experience working in an International and/or Governmental institution is an advantage.Experience in capacity building, manual writing, and training is an advantage.ย
ย Language Requirement Proficiency in the mission language English. Knowledge of other AU working languages would be an added advantage (Arabic, French, Spanish or Portuguese).ย

Remuneration
The salary attached to the position is set at P2, Step 5 inclusive of all allowances for internationally recruited staff.
