The ICLA Technical Assistant will provide information, counselling and assistance to displacement affected populations in its area of operation.

Accounting for the particularities of the job location and context, the Technical Assistant will be responsible for:ย
Stay updated and respect all internal procedures and thematic guidelines, GIS. Deliver individual and group information sessions (GIS), following the guidance. Counselling. In line with the legal case management guidance, provide individual counselling sessions on various topics including legal and civil documentation, housing, land and property rights and work rights, access to essential services and residency rights. Legal assistance. In line with the legal case management guidance, provide legal assistance services to project participants on various topics including legal and civil documentation, housing, land and property rights and work rights, access to essential services and residency rights. Follow-up. Make sure that all case management files are timely followed up with qualitative and client centered approach, following the legal case management guidance.ย SIP. Ensures safe and inclusive programming principles are respected, includingย ensuring safety and dignity of project participants, understanding their diverse needs, enabling meaningful access to NRCโs services, ensuring adequate accountability to affected populations, ensuring adequate participation and consultation, and supporting the realisation of their human rights.ย Data collection. Undertake day to day data collection and data entry related to field activities, legal case management and participates in field mapping exercises, Any other task relevant to the position as requested by the line manager, including administrative tasks, translation of documents or support to emergencies and other Core Competencies among others. Referrals. Oversight of referrals to local aid organizations both national and international in implementation of care plans within legal case management approach, Participate in the drafting and regular update of service mapping External coordination. Meetings with international, national and governmental actors working on legal and education access issues for refugees and migrants when required and as instructed by the line manager and project management. Ensuring that partner organisations fully comply with agreed case management and referral pathways and client handling procedures, Coordination with volunteers. Supporting the ICLA officer and TL in the oversight of volunteer workers, maintaining attendance sheets and coordinating with NRC support colleagues on processing of payments, M&E.ย Conduct regular post service monitoring exercises for ICLA services, participates in project evaluation as needed Reporting. As delegated by line manager, responsible for accurate and high-quality contributions to the reporting of NRC ICLA Area-level achievements through all relevant reporting mechanisms (Dynamic, CORE or any other media). This includes, but is not limited to, internal reporting mechanisms (e.g. NRC GORS), donor reports and inter-agency reporting of achievements (E.g. 4Ws).ย
