Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of the Information, Counselling and Legal Assistance (ICLA) Technical Assistant position is to assist in the day-to-day implementation of the ICLA project in Mazar Province as per the given annual and monthly action plan. This position will normally not entail management responsibility of staff. But will have focus of to conduct Information, counselling, legal assistance on Legal Identity Document (LID) and to help the ICLA officers in doing legal assistance, counselling on House, Land, Property (HLP) rights, Essential needs, Basic Employment Law Procedure (ELP), Capacity Building Trainings and Mentorship Programmes for duty bearers (formal and informal justice system).
Caution: This role is national, only candidates from Afghanistan can be considered.

Bachelor Degree in Law and Sharia Law Minimum experience 2 years within humanitarian context and knowledge of legal practice ย Understanding and respect for humanitarian work, particularly relating to refugee returnees and displacement issues Excellent computer skills especially (Ms. Office Package) Excellent interpersonal skills Knowledge of Dari and Pashto languages Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity.ย Behavioural competencies ย
