We are looking for a motivated and organized Education Projects Assistant to support the effective implementation of NRCโ€™s education projects. The successful candidate will assist with coordinating daily project activities, supporting training sessions, managing data collection and reporting, and ensuring compliance with NRC policies and Safe and Inclusive Programming standards. This role requires close collaboration with the Education Coordinator and team, maintaining accurate project documentation, supporting procurement and logistics, and fostering strong communication with stakeholders. The main responsibility of the Education Projects Assistant is to contribute to the effective and high-quality implementation of the education projects.

Generic Responsibilities:

Support the implementation of the education project in line with the approved action plan.Prepare and submit progress reports as required by management.Develop and share daily, weekly, or monthly reports with the line manager, adhering to internal deadlines.Maintain accurate and organized filing of all project-related documents.Promote and contribute to technical improvements and innovations within the project.Maintain regular communication and coordination with the Technical Officer, Education Officers and Education Coordinator and Manager on thematic project areas.

Specific Responsibilities:

Support the Project Coordinator in the planning, coordination, and day-to-day implementation of education project activities.Assist the education team in developing and organizing project activities based on identified needs and assessment findings as well as other related tasks.Help facilitate and coordinate training sessions and awareness-raising activities for school staff (teaching and non-teaching), MoEHE/UNRWA personnel, parents, and other stakeholders, in alignment with the approved work plan.Ensure accurate documentation and proper filing of all means of verification, including attendance sheets, participant feedback, photos, and assessment reports.Prepare and submit regular updates and reports (daily, weekly, and monthly) to the Project Coordinator on activity progress.Ensure all procurement and logistics documents (PRs, supporting documents, etc.) are prepared and submitted on time and in compliance with procurement procedures.Ensure weekly movement plans are entered and submitted in the system in a timely manner.Ensure accuracy and efficiency in performing data entry tasks.Assist in conducting outcome surveys with precision for accurate data collection.

Proven experience working as a Project Assisstant within humanitarian or recovery settings, preferably in education-related projects.A track record of achieving measurable results in line with the responsibilities of the role.Strong command of English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Context/ Specific Skills, Knowledge And Experience:ย 

University degree in social services, administration, information management, or any related field.ย Minimum of 2 - 3 years of professional experience in the administration section.Strong and effective communication skills.ย Information management or data entry experience
