Our country strategy, launched in July 2020, focuses on empowering girls and young women to be heard, live without fear of violence, and achieve their rights.
For decades, our work in Bangladesh has made a significant impact, and we are now looking for a visionary Director of Programmes to lead our efforts in transforming lives across the country.
The Role
As the Director of Programmes, you will drive the strategic development and implementation of our programmes nationwide. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership and other directors to set ambitious goals and scale our initiatives. Leading a diverse and talented team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality programmes that create tangible evidence, knowledge products, and comprehensive reports for various stakeholders, including donors and government bodies. You will build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, donors, partners, and media, advocating for our mission and mobilizing resources effectively.
As a key member of the Country Management Team, you will contribute to Plan Internationalโs strategic direction in Bangladesh, ensuring alignment with our global and regional strategies. Upholding our value-based leadership guided by feminist principles, you will foster an inclusive workplace culture and lead by example in both programme and team management.

Location: Dhaka
Duration: Five Years
Salary: Monthly consolidated salary range for this role is 344622 BDT โ 430778 BDT (may vary based on experience) along with other benefits i.e. Life Insurance, Hospitalization Insurance coverage along with Out Patient Treatment Benefit.
