Position Overview The Data and Reporting Analyst serves a critical function at Partners In Health (PIH) as the lead for all revenue data analysis efforts supporting the design and implementation of data-driven fundraising strategies across all revenue streams (mass markets, major and principal donors, foundations, corporations, public sector partners, and legacy giving). As a member of the Resource Generation Branch (Development, Institutional Partnerships, Marketing and Communications), the Data and Reporting Analyst will apply their analytical expertise to track, analyze, and interpret data trends to inform strategic decisions that ensure we reach our ambitious fundraising goals. In addition to expert analytical skills, a successful candidate must also be highly detail-oriented and have experience using donor databases (preferably Salesforce) and Business Intelligence reporting tools (preferably Microsoft Power BI). The immediate focus of the Data and Reporting Analyst will be to design and coordinate the roll out of critical data reports and analysis to support our new data-driven strategies for the Resource Generation Branch, working in close partnership with leaders and key stakeholders across PIH.Responsibilities:
- Provide relevant reports and analysis to encourage data discipline among frontline fundraisers and database end-users including data quality control reports.
- Understand source data and coding practices, report requirements, intended audience and the capabilities of available reporting tools and make recommendations on the appropriate reporting tool. Coordinate the branchโs report prioritization process to facilitate the timely delivery of revenue reports.
- Build revenue and fundraising key performance indicator dashboards in Salesforce to help drive donor acquisition and engagement strategies.
- Build on existing revenue forecasting practices to design reports to support the Resource Generation Branchโs shared data-driven projections methodology to provide clear revenue expectations and help inform sophisticated fundraising strategies.
- Partner with the Business Information Systems team to build user-friendly reports in Power BI to support fundraising leaders as they design and implement optimized fundraising strategies across all revenue streams.
- Partner with the Prospect Management and Research team and other members of the CRM Strategy and Operations team on how to best utilize Salesforce to support data analysis. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Strong analytical curiosity and innovative problem-solving skills using a systems-thinking and data-driven approach.
- Solid computer skills in a PC environment and high proficiency using donor databases (Salesforce experience preferred.)
- Proficiency in data retrieval and reporting tools such as Salesforce native reports and Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables. Experience with SOQL and Apsona reporting tools a plus.
- The ability to use Data visualization tools to tell a compelling story.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects in a complex environment in accordance with departmental procedures and priorities.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues of all technical abilities.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity, maturity and good judgement.

The starting salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market for the position, job-related knowledge, skills and experience.Subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plans then in effect, eligible employees may enroll in a 401(k) plan with employer match, as well as participate in organization-sponsored medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability insurance, and basic life insurance plans for the employee and the employeeโs eligible dependents. Full time employees will receive 15 days of vacation, 12 sick days, 3 personal days, and 3 volunteer days in addition to paid time off during the week between Christmas and New Yearโs Day, the week of July 4th, and 11 additional holidays annually.
