Work LocationVienna, Austria Expected duration13.01. - 11.04.2025 Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Corruption and Economic Crime Branch (CEB) strives to continuously support governments, society at large and the private sector to transform the objectives of the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) into reality and to thereby promote effective responses to corruption. Among CEBโs specific objectives the following are to be highlighted: a) to promote further steps towards universal adherence to UNCAC; b) to foster progress in the effective implementation of UNCAC, with UNODC acting as a direct technical assistance provider and/or as a facilitator of the provision of such assistance; and c) to facilitate and support the Implementation Review Mechanism, including with respect to the analysis of technical assistance needs at the country, regional and global levels. All CEB outcomes and outputs have a number of indicators, which must be measured at regular intervals. The appropriate collection of data to satisfy these indicators must be used to demonstrate progress on results to the international community, counterparts and stakeholders in the regions covered. Therefore, an important function of project implementation is to monitor, evaluate and report the impact of activities and deliverables, following a results-based approach and to ensure proper communication and visibility of the results achieved.
