What you will doย ย
The following is a brief description of the role:-ย
Assess needs, develop emergency response and implement response plansย Ensure optimal use of resources within the allocated project budgets and CC strategiesย ย Represent NRC and networking on area level.ย Ensure the inclusion of cash-based interventions and marked based programmes in country and area-based strategies and their implementation across and within NRCโs core competenciesย Provide an enabling environment for the implementation of cash-based interventions, including multi-purpose cash assistance, emergency cash responsesย Lead humanitarian access negotiations resulting in opening of new geographical areasย Manage relationships with local authorities, communities and other humanitarian players in Herat and Badghis provinces.ย Advocate for increased humanitarian attention to the evolving situation in Herat and Badghis provinces.ย Ensure optimal use of resources within the allocated project budgets and CC strategiesย ยPlease download the detailed job description JD-Area Manager - Afghanistan West.pdfย to learn more about the position.ย ย
What you will bringย ย
1. Professional competenciesย ย
Minimum 3-5 years of experience from working as a Senior Manager in aย ย ย humanitarian/recovery contextย Bachelor degree in Management and Master degree is preferred.ย ย Knowledge of cash-based interventions and market based programmesย Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contextsย Documented results related to the positionโs responsibilitiesย Knowledge about own leadership skills/profileย ย Fluency in English, both written and verbalยContext/skills, knowledge and experience:ย ย
