NRC is looking for a Protection Project Manager to join the Myanmar mission. The role holder will be responsible for the implementation of the Protection project portfolio in North-East Myanmar.

What You Will Do

Protection strategy development. Protection programme design and delivery. Protection project development and implementation. Protection monitoring and evaluation, case management, and needs assessments. Line management of project staff, mentoring and coaching, capacity building and transfer of skills, and provide technical advice. Represent NRC in external coordination forums, and liaise and collaborate with authorities and other key stakeholders.

Project implementation experience in a humanitarian/recovery context. Protection experience. Multiple operating unitโ€™s accountability experience. Data analysisย proficiency. Remote programming and remote team-working exposure Complex, and volatile context exposure. English and Burmeseย fluency, both written and verbal.

The portfolio of projects is currently larger than 15. Overall, the Programme Unit brings together a team of around 20 staff. What We Offer

Myitkyina, Kachin State, Myanmar duty station. 12 months contract duration, with the possibility of extension based on need and funding. 50% travel, approximately. Grade 8 in NRCโ€™s Salary Scale.
