Ensure that all procurement processes are in compliance with Logistics Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements.To get quotations from local market for NRC procurement procedure as supervisor assign.Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods, services, and equipment.Receive supplies and ensure that they are in good condition and accompanied with correct documents.Distribute/organize transport of material and equipment according to procedures.To update stock in / out and preparation of monthly stock movement.Ensure that all NRC vehicles are in proper operating condition and coordinate vehicle maintenance.ย Other tasks assigned by line manager.

Specific responsibilities

These responsibilities shall be adapted to the particularities of the job location and context, phase of operation, strategic focus, and type of programme intervention. This section shall be revised whenever a new employee is hired or the context changes significantly.ย 

Prepare payment requests for all procurements & other expenses for NRC Sittwe office and staff houses i.e., fuel, office Supplies, rent, utilities [water & electricity], communications, vendors.ย Respond fully and completely to spot checks on transactions to help NRC maintain transparency and accountability within logistics and procurement.Coordinate with program team for their weekly movement to ensure vehicle movement is cost effective and comply with NRC safety rules.Update the procurement tracker regularly for the monthly report.ย Keep good maintenance of NRC vehicles and rented premises in Sittwe.Prepare requisitions for spare parts for vehicles.Daily and weekly vehicle movement controlย Coordinate and facilitate timely reporting of eventualities like accidents and breakdowns.Secure that NRC vehicles are equipped with necessary documents and equipment.ย Assist in any other operational needs that may be requested by Line Supervisor. Context/ Specific skills, knowledge, and experience:ย 

Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure/ respond to urgent requests.Ability of planning, timing, organizing, as well as problem solvingHonesty and transparency in dealing with suppliers.Computer literate with MS Office skillsAn ability to work discreetly and professionally with sensitive and confidential information, and sometimes under pressure.Good communication in languages spoken in Rakhine and some Burmese.ย
