The LFS Project Manager position has the overall responsibility in the implementation of LFS CC project portfolio in the area of North East.ย 

The Livelihoods and Food Security (LFS) PM position aims to contribute to developing the LFS Core Competency (CC) in the North East Area of Colombia, including managing projects, ensuring technical quality assurance, and supporting the Area Manager and LFS Specialist for fundraising. The LFS PM is also responsible for advising, training, and strengthening staff on technical capacity, contributing to developing proposals, and concept notes, and assisting in fundraising/resource mobilisation according to LFS Specialist and Area Manager Requests.

Guided by the programme policy and global and country LFS strategy, this position has a three-pronged focus:

a)ย ย ย Livelihood Provisioning / Meeting basic needs: Protect and stabilise affected people, seeking to ensure access to adequate and essential food and livelihood needs necessary for survival.
b)ย ย ย Livelihoods protection: Support affected households and communities to cope with shocks, improve local food & market systems and access to employment.
c)ย ย ย Livelihoods promotion/Supporting economic inclusion activities: Supporting the development and adaptive capacities of affected people to achieve self-reliance and lasting economic inclusion for people affected by displacement
