The role of the HR Officer is to perform HR related tasks in the day-to-day for the East Area Office.ย 

Generic responsibilitiesย 

  • Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.ย 
  • Implements independently procedures and activities within own function as delegated.ย 
  • Responsible for organizing and delivery of tasks in line with priorities and standards.ย 
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of the specialist area of work in which technical assistance and support is being provided, to be most effective in supporting the team.ย 
  • Use initiative in day-to-day problem solving in line with agreed procedures, priorities, and standards for the area of work.ย 
  • Prepare and develop status reports as required by management.ย 
  • Ensure proper filing of documents.ย 
  • Promote and share ideas for improvement in your area of expertise.ย 
  • To provide confidentiality of HR processes.

    Specific responsibilitiesย 

    • Responsible for recruitment process for positions of 1-5 grades
    • Carrying out the hiring and resignation process in accordance with NRC procedures and Ukrainian legislation
    • Working with employee contracts (creation, renewal, tracking)
    • Responsible for maintaining accurate data in the HR database (People System, filing tree, excel database)ย 
    • Responsible for tracking attendance of mandatory trainings by EAO employeesย 
    • Responsible for supporting the payroll process in 1C (transfer of information on vacations and sick leave of employees to the financial department)
    • Supporting of proper documentation and filing (i.e. personnel files, hard and electronic, timesheets, attendance sheets, overtime, leave requests, staff trackers etc.)ย 
    • Supporting of the induction process
    • Supporting of vacaยญยญยญยญtion and sick leave processes in accordance with the procedure
    • Supporting of HR orders creation according to Ukrainian legislation (vacation, business trips, etc.)
    • Support of the work development plan process for EAO employees
    • Other tasks related to HR responsibilities

      Qualification requirements:ย 

      • Bachelorโ€™s degree and above in relevant fieldย 
      • Years of Experience -ย 1ย 
      • Experience of working in HR and Admin field
      • Recruitment experience
      • Confident user of MS Office
      • Spoken and written English skills, pre-intermediate level and above
      • NGO experience will be an advantage
