Family Support Worker - Casual

Save the Children’s Family Support and Early Childhood programs go out into the community across Gippsland and support vulnerable families and children to reach their full potential. We need you to help us give these children an experience of quality early childhood education and play, to develop their appetite for learning and help enable a smooth transition into school.

Where you come in:

In this casual role, you’ll facilitate playgroups and provide family support across a variety of early childhood, youth and family programs. Based in Bairnsdale (with travel across East Gipplsand), you’ll be part of our Australian Services team and report to our Team Leader, East Gippsland.

You will make an impact by:

· Delivering early years programs including playgroups and community events

You’re a committed early years practitioner who’s passionate about working with children and families and making a difference in their lives. Your sensitivity and community knowledge will see you build strong connections with families from varying cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. You’re motivated, eager to learn and not afraid to jump in feet first to help make our programs successful.
