The program provides individualised financial support packages, as well as risk assessments, safety planning and referral support. Weโ€™re looking for dedicated Team Leaders who will drive high performing teams to provide trauma-informed and person-centred support to victim survivors of intimate partner violence.

In this full time, permanent (fully work-from-home) role, youโ€™ll provide support line, intake, triage or client support that can make a real difference. As the first point of contact, youโ€™ll listen with empathy, assess risk, and connect victim-survivors with the right supports at the right time.

You will make a difference by:

Answering calls and online enquiries with empathy and professionalism Conducting thorough family, domestic and sexual violence risk assessments as a core part of your daily role Developing and updating detailed safety plans with victim-survivors, ensuring risks are actively monitored and addressed Explaining program eligibility and guide people through the application process Connecting victim survivors to appropriate support services where required Assisting with safety planning, referrals and mandatory reporting where required Monitoring evolving risks and update support plans accordingly Maintaining accurate records and collaborate with colleagues and partner services Tracking your queue and working time using Genesys Receiving and maintaining up to date records and notes using Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and consistency Adapting and contributing to program improvements as the service evolves, helping shape a stronger, more effective national program Being flexible and adaptable to undertake any function across the client journey, supporting victim survivors as program needs evolve.

To succeed in this role, you will need to meet the following:

Bachelorโ€™s degree in social work (or equivalent) Eligible for registration with at least one professional body: AASW, ACA, AHPRA or PACFA Willingness to undergo checks: Working with Children Check, National Police Check, right to work, qualifications and professional membership verification Available to work between 8:00 am โ€“ 6:00 pm in your time zone Proven experience in a support line, intake & triage, crisis response or high-volume client support role (telephone/online intake or triage experience in a relevant context is highly regarded) Extensive, hands-on experience in conducting risk assessments and developing safety plans in FDSV contexts (daily practice, not occasional exposure) Engaging with culturally diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples Confidence using client management and recording systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar CRMs), and ability to manage queue/time tracking through systems such as Genesys Ability to manage sensitive conversations with empathy, resilience and professionalism Agility and willingness to adapt as the program evolves - contributing ideas, identifying improvements and building on program strengths Flexibility to take on different responsibilities and functions within the LVP Program as needed, as the Program grows and evolves.
