A place to make a difference:
In this full time, maximum-term position (through to June 2026), youโll play a key coordination role in our newly established Early Years Place. With programs delivered flexibly in the community, your role will focus on connecting parents and carers with the support they need, and collaborating with local networks. Reporting to our Team Leader, youโll be based in Maryborough.
You will make a difference by:
Identifying barriers to early childhood supports for families, and promoting resources and information to support parents and carers Actively supporting transitions through the early years service system Building connections with local services providers including primary, child and allied health, early childhood education and development programs, government agencies, schools and other specialist supports Engaging with children and families who are not currently accessing support services and identifying where additional assistance and external services are required, providing appropriate information, support and referralsA place to feel valued:
Youโre an experienced and confident early childhood practitioner, with a passion for early childhood development. You work from a strengths-based perspective, your interpersonal skills are excellent, and you build relationships easily with other service providers. Importantly, youโll keep the values of 54 reasons at the forefront of your work and will always seek excellence in the services we provide to our families.
Demonstrated experience in working with children and families in the early years space Experience in working collaboratively with local service providers, and building and maintaining partnerships and networks Well-developed time management, organisational, and coordination skills Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood or another relevant field, or significant relevant experience
