Deployment and HR Adviser

We are looking to hire three (3) Deployment Advisers: One to support PPD (PPD is NORCAP Protection, Peace and Democracy Section); and two (2) for HRR (HRR is NORCAP Humanitarian Response and Resilience Section).ย
These are exciting opportunities whereย you as Deployment Adviser will be responsible for ensuring high quality and timely placement and follow-up ofย experts in the field. You will assist themย onย HR andย duty of care issues, ensuring that they are enabled to deliver work of high quality to partners, stakeholders, and beneficiariesย โย in line withย NORCAPโsย strategic goals.
What you will do
Some of yourย keyย tasks will include:
Responsible forย deploymentย process in accordance with NORCAP procedures: Manage the process flow in the HR Management System (Oracle) Contribute toย selectingย candidates in accordance with selection criteria and ToR and in consultation with Thematic Manager (in accordance with SOP). Liaise with host agencies, issueย contracts, arrange travel and provide support. Main point of contact and provision of HR and duty of care support to NORCAP experts before, during and after missions. Ensure adequate Health, Safety and Security (HSS) arrangements in place for all NORCAP experts while onย aย mission. Contribute to monitoring and reporting and risk assessment. .Contribute toย developing aย community of practice within the project. Ensure coordinated and effective response. Undertake field missions to follow upย withย experts.ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ย ยWhat you will bring
