Position Overview
Reporting to the General Counsel, the Associate Attorney is responsible for supporting the Partners In Health (PIH) Legal Department with a large variety of transactional agreements, including consulting, information technology, licensing and other agreements. The Associate Attorney will also provide legal support for legal projects, including policy review, legal compliance, and contract management.

Qualifications
Juris Doctor required, with at least three years of relevant legal experience. Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or in another jurisdiction and in-house registration with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers Prior experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts. Strong analytical and communication skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to understand complex legal concepts and offer succinct and understandable explanations and counsel to Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently under deadline pressure and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Exemplary interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to collaborate effectively with culturally diverse staff across departments and countries. Interest in social justice is strongly desirable.
