Plan has been working in Cox Bazar to respond to the Rohingya refugee influx since 24 September 2017 implementing the following key objectives: 1. Ensure girls and boys affected by the crisis are protected from violence, abuse, neglect and exploitation through appropriate prevention and response interventions in line with minimum standards. 2. Reduce the transmission of disease from fees to mouth through the promotion of good hygiene practice and the reduction of health risks related to poor sanitation 3. Restore and increase access to safe quality and inclusive educational opportunities for refugee children and adolescents (girls and boys) affected by the Rohingya crisis.

The role:
Technical Officer -MC Secondary will be responsible for the implementation of the Myanmar Curriculum component targeting children aged 11-18 YO. She/he will ensure the delivery and achievement of programme outputs in particular establishment of Community Based Learning Facilities, support for the identification and mobilization of teachers/facilitators in displaced and host communities, support for teachers training, delivery of education activities for targeted children. S/he will communicate frequently with Coordinator for expenditure, reporting and donor compliance. She/he will take proactive stance in identifying and mitigating child protection related risk in the implementation of the project interventions and will represent plan at sub district level.
What weโre looking for:
Minimum Bachelor level educational qualification in Education, social studies or any relevant subject. Minimum 2 years of experience in education sector. Experience in Coxโs Bazar humanitarian settings is an asset. INGO work experience is preferred. Comprehensive understanding of the Humanitarian architecture of the Rohingya Response its operating and regulatory environment. Understanding general finance, administration and information management. Knowledge and understanding of Planโs vision, mission values. In-depth understanding of Child Protection. Maintaining work relationships (internal/external). Communicating, one to one & in groups, written & verbal, presentations and reports in English; knowledge of Bangla would be necessary. Budget management and assessment of financial operations in humanitarian situations. Facilitation, negotiation and networking. Persuasion and ability to influence. Good knowledge and understanding of DO NO HARM principles and established education in emergencies standards. Ability to represent the organization at key external and internal events when required. Ability to solve problems, handle setbacks and pressure. Ability to use basic office electronic equipment & computer applications. Fluency in English, written and spoken. Understanding and speaking local language of Coxโs Bazar or Chittagong is an advantage.

Salary Package for this role is BDT. 55020.00 to BDT. 61898.00 monthly Cost to the company. Along with other benefits i.e., hospitalization benefit, Festival Bonus, leave and group insurance.
