ACAPS has recently expanded the number of its analysis products focusing on gender and protection issues and has been working in the past years on a better integration of those issues in our analysis. In this context, additional expertise at the global level is needed, in order to offer all analysis teams the relevant competencies and expert support. This is the purpose of this Gender and Protection Global Expert position.

Objectives
The consultant will support various teams across the organisation with gender and protection issues. The consultantโs work will be coordinated by the Analysis Coordinator and supervised by the various ACAPS Team Leaders, according to the supported projects.ย ย
Scope of work
Research and Analysis:ย Support the design and delivery and/or review multi-sector and thematic analytical products related to gender and protection. Provide advice and expertise through reviews of specific products.Methodology and quality assurance: Support the development of ACAPS knowledge and guidance on better data collection, data preparedness activities, technical notes, analysis, and reporting related specifically to gender and protection.ย
Collaboration and coherency: promote coherence of gender and protection related themes across all ACAPS products, by ensuring consistency across teams and attending meetings with protection roles in the organisation.
The Project Progress plan or Schedule of deliverables
Each time there is a request for support in the scope of work of this consultancy agreement, the Consultant and Team Leader requesting support will establish and agree on a clear list of specific deliverables and the number of days required, as annexes to this contract and basis for monthly invoices. The Consultant is supervised by the various ACAPS Team Leaders, according to the supported projects, and maintains close links with the Analysis Coordinator for internal coherency purposes.Critical interfaces
