Policy Coordinator (4 Month Contract)

A general overview of the position to help the reader understand the purpose and how it relates to other jobs in the organization. Reporting the Sr. Advisor, Policy and Government Relations, the Policy Coordinator will provide assistance to Save the Children Canadaโs Policy and Government Relation team and Humanitarian Affairs Teams.

Policy analysis of the Canadian Government (for children in crisis, including Gaza, climate justice, Gender equality)ย Participation in sectors meeting ย Monitoring news, online group discussions, reports, etc. ย Supporting in the development of tools and materials for advocacy initiatives including literature reviews and background research, policy briefs. ย Prepare briefs and assist in organization of meetingsย and outreach to key stakeholdersSupport the preparation of roundtables, events or external meetings on relevant development or humanitarian issues and topics.ย Assist in development of materials for campaign and communications such as infographics, social media posts and case-studies.ย Support event logistics.ยQualifications include (but are not limited to):

This position salary range between $48,307.23 - $59,756.48ย CAD depending on skills and experience. In addition to this, our employees will have the following package of additional benefits:
