1.ย  Roles and Responsibilitiesย 

This position is part of the Consortium Coordinating Unit (CCU) hosted by NRC, which has been working in Jordan since 2012.ย The MEL Technical Officerโ€™s role is to support the MEL coordinator in implementing MEL activities among all partner organizations. With support from the MEL coordinator, the MEL Technical Officer will work with the M&E technical leads of each partner organization, to ensure M&E activities are implemented in a standardized and timely manner and high-quality data and evidence are generated as well as used for programming. Moreover, the Technical Officer serves as the technical focal point for all analysis and reporting for the consortium activities including adherence of NRC policies and donor reporting.ย  Generic responsibilitiesย 

Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Intermediate to advanced level in MS Excel, Power Point, PowerBi and Word.Advanced technical level of tools designing and coding. Advanced analytical experience using different softwares.ย  Experience from working within technical expertise area involving consortium or projects involving multiple partners in non-profit sector. Previousย experienceย fromย workingย inย complexย andย volatileย contexts. Fluencyย inย English,ย bothย writtenย andย verbal.

Context/specificย experience:

Fluentย inย Arabic, bothย writtenย andย verbal. Willingnessย toย travelย toย theย fieldย (inย hostย communities). Behavioral Competencies (max 6) Planning and delivering results
