GIZ International Services is searching for a replacement for the Monitoring and evaluation (M&E) expert position of the EU-funded project โSupport to Criminal Justice Reform\" in Ethiopia.
The overall objective of the programme of which this contract is \"Increased rule of law, respect for human rights and access to justice for all\".
The purpose of this contract is to support the Government of Ethiopia in its efforts to reform the criminal justice system in Ethiopia through the provision of ongoing technical assistance, advice and support to key institutions involved in the reforms and to ensure increased access to justice for all.
Your profile
Qualifications and skills
Degree or diploma in statistics, M&E, research, project management or related field. In the absence of a degree, at least 15 yearsโ experience in statistics, M&E, research, project management or related field.
General professional experience
Specific professional experience
Previous experience in M&E of criminal justice / justice sector / policing reform projects or programmes will be an advantage. Demonstrable experience in M&E capacity development (training, on-the-job support, guidance, hand-holding etc.).Location information
The TAU will be based in Addis Ababa. Periodic travel to all Regions will be required.
The tentative start date is the 15th of November 2024. The project will run until the 14th of October 2025.
