GIZ is the project implementing organization on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) and will coordinate the overall project. As main applicant, GIZ will provide grants to the other partners, and oversee financial management. The coordinator will liaise with and report to the project manager. The project StoREin (Energy Storage for Renewable Energy Integration in India) helps to create favorable framework conditions for the introduction of viable storage systems on distribution grid level. Decentralized storage solutions can significantly contribute to Indiaโs huge challenge of going carbon-neutral by 2070.
Your tasks
Support the coordination of all media activities including events, workshops and tours in close connection with the operation manager or head of project Assist the necessary coordination processes to produce publications and materials in accordance with GIZ standards Contribute to the production and dissemination of communication material for awareness events and mobilization through videos, training manuals and field visits Ensure information exchange between project staff, consortium partners and other stakeholders Monitor the communication and interaction related to the project between governmental institutions, and other stakeholders by analyzing the media, engaging in direct dialogue, and participating in meetings and seminars Drafting reports, summaries or analysis with the input from other stakeholdersYour profile
Post graduate University education in Communication, ICT, Mass Media or comparable degree First relevant professional experience, preferably gained in one of our partner countries, in the area of renewable energy or similar First experience in monitoring and evaluation in an energy related project with result indicators, ideally gained in India Initial experience in a gender equality driven project Good communication skills as well as excellent writing and management skills Ability to multitask and work under pressure Business fluent in German and EnglishLocation information
