Transport is responsible for around a quarter of energy-related CO2 emissions worldwide. To achieve the Paris climate targets, a transport transition and extensive decarbonization of transport by 2050 is necessary. The \"NDC Transport initiative for Asia\" (NDC TIA)\", funded by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) supports partner countries in Asia to strengthen their commitment to climate-friendly transport. To support this and other IKI mobility projects, we are looking for a dedicated and creative intern with hands-on mentality and digital affinity, who will support us in the external and internal communication. Supporting the external and internal communication of the IKI project \"NDC Transport Initiative for Asia\" and the brand \"Changing Transport\" by creating and maintaining content on the websites and, the social media channels and the newsletter Supporting the preparation and implementation of events in the areas of communication, programme, and participant management, in particular Transport and Climate Change Week 2023 Supporting the conception and implementation of online campaigns Supporting the conception and editorial preparation of impact content for online and print communication products (website, social media, publications) Supporting in the preparation and implementation of webinars In-house knowledge management Other ad-hoc tasks surrounding the promotion of sustainable transport

Ihr Profil

You are studying (at least basic studies or Bachelor) and/or have a degree in event management, media, communication, environmental, political, or social sciences or a related field. You bring an interest in development policy and a basic understanding of the challenges facing the transport sector in emerging and developing countries and/or knowledge of international climate policy and approaches to mitigating greenhouse gas emissions in the transport sector. You have a high degree of digital affinity and enjoy working with social media. You put creative ideas into practice in an agile, fast and productive manner and work efficiently, solution-oriented and independently. You have organisational skills and enjoy supporting the preparation and implementation of events in new, partially digital formats with a hands-on mentality. You have very good written and spoken English language skills (German and other language skills are an advantage). You have a very good feeling for language and are adept at writing and editing texts. You enjoy writing. You are proficient in using a PC and are familiar with the usual Office programmes (especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel); proficiency in image editing programmes such as Adobe Photoshop and InDesign is an advantage.

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.064,- (gross).
