The Mitigation Action Facility is a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry for the Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), UKโs Department for Energy Security & Net Zero, the Danish Ministry of Climate, Energy and Utilities (KEFM), the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the European Union and the Childrenโs Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF). The Facility catalyses investments, strengthens capacities and triggers behaviour change towards sectorial decarbonisation. Since 2012, the portfolio has grown to 47 projects across 33 countries and a total funding volume of EUR 668 million (as of February 2023). On behalf of the Donors of the Mitigation Action Facility, BMWK has commissioned the Deutsche Gesellschaft fรผr Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH to implement the Mitigation Action Facility including the operation of the Technical Support Unit (TSU) as a secretariat. The TSU implements Calls for projects, coordinates and monitors the overall implementation of the programme and is responsible for monitoring, evaluation, reporting, knowledge management and communication. Ihr Profil
Academic background: political sciences, economics, finance, development studies, environmental studies, engineering, or similar (at least successfully completed Bachelorโs degree) Professional/academic experience in climate protection, financing and/or development cooperation Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking Very familiar handling the MS Office package and an eye for detail is a strong asset Languages: Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, French, Spanish or German advantageousHinweise

We pay a monthly stipend of โฌ2.064,- (gross).
