On behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the project \"Scaling digital agricultural innovations through start-ups\" (SAIS) supports African start-ups in the agricultural and food sector before the growth phase. The project aims to improve the investor readiness of the selected start-ups and give them access to investments and business partners. In this way, the start-ups are to be supported in scaling their innovations and thus reach a more significant number of users. For users, innovation must have a positive income effect.
Ihre Aufgaben
Technical and conceptual support in the further development of an Investment Readiness Programme for innovative tech start-ups in the African agriculture/livestock sector Working closely with the start-ups and partners of the programme Support of the selection process for the Investment Readiness Programme Support in the preparation of events Carrying out professional research in the areas of digitization, agriculture, animal husbandry, start-ups and investors Preparation of short technical articles and material for external communication Networking Support of the SAIS project team in administrative tasks and day-to-day businessIhr Profil
You are studying (at least a completed bachelor's degree) economics, business administration, marketing, finance, innovation management or a related, relevant field You have initial knowledge in the areas of business, start-ups and investments You have very good spoken and written German and English language skills - French language skills are an advantage You are a digital native with a talent for creative designs You are communicative, have organizational skills and are happy to support you in the preparation of events and maintaining contacts with partners of the projects You have an interest in development policy Ideally, you have initial experience in the areas of communication and start-up developmentHinweise
Please be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of โฌ2.134,52 (gross).
