The global Fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag) is part of the Special Initiative „Transformation of Agricultural and Food Systems“ (SI AGER). The fund identifies and promotes innovations in the agri-food sector on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). As part of the emergency programme, additional measures are implemented beyond innovation support that intend to mitigate economic and political consequences, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war against Ukraine. The fund is in the division “Rural Development and Agriculture\" in the Sector and Global Programs Department of GIZ (GloBe).
Gender, diversity and postcolonialism form an increasingly important interface in our day-to-day work at project, department, and division level. The i4Ag Fund is looking for support to address these topics in the project implementation, to coordinate them on divisional level and to drive them forward on departmental level.
We consider it as a special opportunity to be part of topics like this. Therefore, we suggest: Apply - in all the diversity that is imaginable!
