Job description
The global Fund for the Promotion of Innovation in Agriculture (i4Ag) is part of the Special Initiative โTransformation of Agricultural and Food Systemsโ (SI AGER). The fund identifies and promotes innovations in the agri-food sector on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). As part of the emergency programme, additional measures are implemented beyond innovation support that intend to mitigate economic and political consequences, such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the war against Ukraine. The fund is in the division โRural Development and Agriculture\" in the Sector and Global Programs Department of GIZ (GloBe).
Gender, diversity and postcolonialism form an increasingly important interface in our day-to-day work at project, department, and division level.
