Purpose of the Job
The purpose of ICLA Technical Assistant position is to implement ICLA activities in the field. The post holder is responsible for ensuring that all ICLA activities comply with the NRC Code of Conduct, national law, donor requirements, and ICLAโs overall objective to ensure that people affected by displacement can access their right to a durable solution.

Generic professional competencies:ย
University degree from faculty of law or Sharia, or a related field and a thorough knowledge of Afghan law.ย At least 2 yearsโ experience from working in legal assistance implementation position.ย Technical specific knowledge from the humanitarian sector and work experience with refugees. Prior experience of representing an I/NGO, and advocating on behalf of beneficiaries, in public forums (e.g. Protection Sector). Understand and communicate on local languages Pashto and Dari Experience in monitoring, evaluation and reporting on project activities. Willing to travel to the โhard to reach areasโ covered under ICLA projects in Kandahar Province.ย Working knowledge in southern provinces is highly preferred.ย Knowledge of English Language Working knowledge of context-relevant languages. Advanced computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts. Documented technical competences related to the positionโs responsibilities. Documented results related to the positionโs responsibilities. Knowledge of cash-based interventions and market-based programs.ย

Monthly Salary based on NRC Afghanistan Salary Scale. Mobile Phone with Top up Credit card. NRC will cover staff plus four (4) depended for medical insurance. Pension Allowances on monthly basis.
