NRC Somalia is looking for a talented, motivated and qualified Project Manager who will actively contribute to the realization of NRCโs vision of creating a sustainable environment where IDPs, refugees and vulnerable host communities can better exercise their rights.ย
The ICLA PM will ensure that projects are managed and monitored carefully. She/he will ensure that project reports are prepared on time and submitted to CO for onward submission to donors.ย
Role and responsibilities
The purpose of the ICLA Project Manager position is to implement delegated ICLA project portfolio.
Generic responsibilitiesย
Compliance and adherence to NRC policies, guidance and procedures. Line management of project staff and responsible for staff recruitmentย Contribute to the development of Country, Area and ICLA strategies, initiate and participate in the development of relevant ICLA projects. Coordinate and manage ICLA project implementation (activities, budget and project documentation) in line with proposals, strategies and donor requirements. Provide technical direction to ICLA team, and ensure high quality of projects.Specific responsibilitiesย
Coordinate and Supervise the ICLA project team and program activities such as project reports, follow-up, meetings and report to the Area Manager. Coordinate preparation of work plans and progress reports for ICLA teams. Expand and maintain NRCโs network of relevant stakeholders in all operational areas. Coordinate establishment of client outreach, screening and identification procedures Coordinate establishment of case documentation management systems. Support development and strengthening of synergies between all NRC programs.ย Document case studies and best practice for facilitating secure land tenure and identity documents for IDPs. Prepare presentations and papers demonstrating lessons learned. Support the preparation of funding proposals.Competencies:
